1 What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Canan. It is not read as Conan, not a masculine sound as so many DA friends think. It is like J sound in English. I am from Istanbul Turkey.
2 How long have you been active on DA?
I have been active on DA since 2009. First a few months, I followed many artists and admired them a lot. It was so inspiring that I tried to make photomanipulations with Windows Paint program. They were highly primitive. Later I started to use Photoshop.
3 How did you start photography?
I am a “Deviantart Child”. I’ve learned everything about photography here in DA. All of my photographer friends in DA are still my teachers. I have to thank specially to my dear BFF Ayhan for encouraging me all the time and for his teachings. Also, to dear Richard for his support and for everything he has taught me.
4 What does DA bring to your photographic work?
As I mentioned, DA is my school and it will always be my window to the world of art. If you ask
This is an old set that I made in the past but never posted all the photos here, think it will be a good entry for a journal to show a day in camera life
My camera like to start every day with a cup of coffee

and don't forget that also the young one need support
[DEVIATION]

[DEVIATION]
make new freinds
[DEVIATION]
If you have a good idea, do it
[DEVIATION]
only if it not that challenging
[DEVIATION]
and try to think one step a head
[DEVIATION]
take a break and make some good tea
[DEVIATION]
and don't forget to stay clean

and don't forget about what you going to wear
100 COLLABORATIONS (mine and not only) by AndersAG, journal
100 COLLABORATIONS (mine and not only)
When the number of my collaborations with other artists on DA began to approach 100, I thought about creating this journal. In it I would like to reflect on this, in general, not quite usual form of creativity.
I would also like to better understand for myself why I do this? Is there any other purpose, besides unusual visual perception? I wonder what other artists were thinking when they created collaborations, were they driven by anything other than the “corporate” nature of co-creation, a desire to collaborate, or simply because they liked a particular artist or the work of others?
Although this journal is dedicated to the anniversary of my own works and most of shown here will be collaborations with my participation, I will also publish wonderful collaborations of many other talented artists on DA. Of course, this will be my choice and only a very small part of them, but you can always go to their account and pay tribute to their talent. If you have an answer to the question of
