I am happy to present this new illustration, which was inspired by one of my favorite movies : Indiana jones and the last crusade.
I rewatched it a few days ago, and I was overwhelmed again by the creativity and beauty of this epic adventure.
The end scene is one of the scenes that have fascinated (and traumatized) me the most since my childhood, when I discovered this movie.
The concepts of immortality, sacrifice, glory and acceptance of our human conditions, and our relationship to history and to the mark that we will leave after our death, so many themes evoked and to which I wanted to pay homage with this illustration.
