The choice of starter on Pokemon Sacred Phoenix will be between three Dragons: . Salamence and Garchomp have their official Mega-Evolution. Not Dragonite. My fangame repairs this injustice by offering its the one it deserves.

Just like Mega-Garchomp and Mega-Salamence, Mega-Dragonite will be on Uber tier. Three mega of equivalent power, the choice is yours!

Furthermore, then it seems that Dragonite is the Pokémon most often chosen in Pokémon Dark Rising. Many will be delighted to learn that he will be able to mega-evolve in Keltios with a unique ability that will make him fully enjoy the possibility of learning 8 moves. (Yes 8 attacks instead of 4 : it will be a feature of Sacred Phoenix.)

Ability:

• Storm Master : Fire, Water, Ice and Electrik attacks deal +30% damage and the Pokémon is immune to weather damage. [See note 2]

• Devastating Drake (Dragon Type): Unleashes the full force of the Z-Power to summon an auric dragon that explodes on its target, causing massive Dragon-type damage. Hits in Physical or Special depending on which is more effective and gains in power with the launcher’s level.

• Supersonic Skystrike (Flying Type): The user soars up with its Z-Power and plummets toward the target at full speed, causing massive Flying-type damage. Hits in Physical or Special depending on which is more effective and gains in power with the launcher’s level.

Sacred Phoenix gameplay's note:

Note 1: My fan-game will introduce the concept of Sacred Mega-Evolution. This is the original mega-evolution, the one we see in the anime or Pokémon Origins. The one that demands pure friendship between the Pokémon and its trainer. It not only allows any mega-evolved Pokémon to have a bonus of +20 in HP stat base (in addition to the other 100 points spread) but also to regain all its vitality and allows to use a Z-move corresponding to its type.
These gems that concentrates the power of a Mega Stone and a Z-Crystal are crafted through a ritual and carry the prefix "Sacred (stone)-ite". The counterpart is the mega-evolution can only be used once a day by the Pokemon (and not every fight) and that pumps a lot of mana from your Phoenix Scepter (which contains your Key / Sparkling Stone).

Note also that it will be difficult to maintain the friendship almost to the maximum: the gauge will extend over 1023 points instead of 255 and fainting will be significantly penalizing.
The mega-evolution of official video games will also be present, but is badly seen in Keltios. ("Classic" mega-stones are born of the pain of Ultimate Weapon: souls' shards of thousand sacrificed Pokémons.)

Note 2: The second part of this Ability is a Defensive effect, so it is ignored if the weather summoner has Mold Breaker or consorts.
