Jormost

Here is Jörmost, the Webbed Snake Pokémon made for Pokémon Sacred Phoenix.

Lore:

This undead Pokémon fills a gap in Sacred Phoenix’s reincarnation mechanics. As a Water/Ghost-type, the only existing line is Jellicent, a marine creature, to which Basculegion was added starting with Legends Arceus.

Since the Water-type is the most common, over 60 creatures in my regional Pokédex would all be reincarnated as Frillish after death, including lake and river species.

Basculegion could have been an alternative, but this Pokémon is closely tied to Basculin, including in the lore. (The same issue arises with Froslass, which is the only Pokémon with this dual type.)

To diversify things, this Fakemon was created and will become the reincarnation of half of the aquatic species. It is inspired by Viking ships, hence its dragon-like appearance (or that of a water snake in its first evolutionary stage). Shy at first, it becomes nimble in its second evolutionary stage, then imposing in its final stage, capable of carrying several men on its back like a Lapras.

Due to its spectral composition and its ability to become invisible in water, it inherits a signature ability, as well as the Acid Armor move.
