Invad-Ed, Chapter 10
Chapter 10: Eddy is One Lucky Son-of-a-Gun
Double D looked from Eddy, to the giant drill, to Tak. He racked his brain trying to think of something that would make the situation better. There was still no sign of Zim.
Now, Tak he began, trying to maintain his composure. Were all rational beings, lets say right? Why, Im sure if we just talked this out, we can come so some sort of compromise
Attempting to negotiate with someone whos trying to blow up the Earth? asked Eddy. Yeah, real smooth, Double D.
Eddy Double D said through clenched teeth. Let me handle this
Theres nothing to compromise, said Tak. As an Invader, its my job to invade planets. And I intend to see my plan through to the end, in spite of you meddling humans.
Hey, Im only here to get jawbreakers, said Eddy. And I

Chapter 9: My Tallest, Weve Contacted a Moron
The next thing Eddy and Double D knew, they were sneaking around the dark corridors of the jawbreaker factory. However, one thing they had immediately noticed was that unlike their previous visits to the factory (contrary to popular belief, they had been inside the factory before), the place was sweltering hot. Because of this, the boys had to shed their winter clothing near the entrance of the building.
What are we supposed to be looking for again? Eddy whispered again.
According to Zim, a giant drill-like object capable of drilling into the Earths core, Double D whispered back. Since Zims going off to find Tak, Im hoping Ill be able to figure it out by myself.
Well, since its a girl, I wouldnt be surprised if its complicated, said Eddy.
Double D looked at his friend. So youre saying that the fact

Chapter 8: Attack of the Exploding Jawbreakers
Well, this certainly wasnt how I was planning to spend the rest of the night said Double D, with a very exasperated look on his face.
And he had every right to be. At the moment, he was on an elevator with an ecstatic Ed, a serious Eddy (or, at least as serious as someone can get about jawbreakers), Zim (minus his schoolboy disguise), Gir (even though he was no longer wearing his dog disguise, Ed still called him puppy), and MiniMoose. The elevator was hidden in Zims house, and seemed to be heading underground.
Just be thankful I let you three in this far, humans, said Zim. The only reason you three are even here is because youre experts on the building Tak is planning to infiltrate.
We do have names, you know, said Double D.
I know, said Zim. But calling you worm-babies humans makes me sound more intimidating.

Chapter 7: Things are Coming Together
Later that day, the Eds were back in the cafeteria, continuing to look over the plans for their Ice Hotel.
This is it, boys, said Eddy, that all-too-familiar glint in his eyes. Its almost done. Just a few more days of work, and our Ice Hotel will be open for business! Then well finally be makin the big money!
Can I lick the bowl, Eddy? asked Ed.
Eddy ignored Ed and turned to Double D. However, Eddys expression turned from excited to annoyed when he realized that his sock hat friends attention was elsewhere.
Hey! Mr. Landscaper! Eddy called to Double D. Does the phrase swimming in jawbreakers mean anything to you?
But Double D still wasnt paying attention. Eddy and Ed finally turned in the direction of where Double D was looking. They soon realized that Double D had every right to stare.
Tak, the new girl, had just

Epilogue: Now, on to Bigger and Better Things
The story you have just read is true. Names have been changed to protect the innocent...well, not really.
Also, it happened months ago. It happened in February, and it's...what, like, the first of June, already? Geez, I sure take a long time to tell a story, don't I?
Anyway, a lot has happened since then: AMX got my arm fixed up (which gave me the scar), her winter blues are gone now that we have eighty-degree weather again, and Klaymen an I are still best friends. We still hang out almost every day, and it's never a dull moment here.
Even now, as I talk and Klaymen types what I say, Mikata is watching us. And Telly is asking, "Mr. Eddy, are you guys done writing the story of your wonderful adventure yet?"
We will be in a few minutes. Which is a good thing, I suppose. Klaymen and I want to find another adventure to tackle. Now that this is over, we can move onto bigger and better things.

Chapter 7: Now I Know how Monica Seles Feels
Before I go on, I suppose I should tell you this: if you know the backstory of Monica Seles, the title of this chapter should make more sense. AMX thought of the title herself; nifty, huh?
Anyway, back to the story. It's only fair since I left you at a cliffhanger back there.
Now...where was I?
Klaymen and I slowly entered the room in the castle which held Hoborg, and hopefully, his crown.
We cautiously looked around. The room appeared to be empty.
"Where do you think he is?" I whispered to Klaymen.
But before Klaymen could answer me, someone else did.
Someone popped out in front of us, making Klaymen and me jump. I was a lot more freaked out, because I knew who it was. And I didn't like it.
"Oh, I'm sorry," said Klogg, putting the same claws he had used to attack me on Klaymen's shoulders. "Did I...frighten you?"
Well, what do you think, buddy?
"My name is Klogg."
Oh, like we d

Chapter 6: A Story of Creation, Betrayal, and...Why Does he Look Familiar?
"Well, some castle THIS is," I said, looking around the room Klaymen and I had entered a few moments ago. "It's just a big empty room!"
Well...I take that back. It was sort of a big empty room. There was a lot of junk laying around in it; whoever took over this castle seemed extremely busy.
Klaymen had just reentered from a nearby balcony; he was holding a pin. Hey, you never know when a pin will come in handy.
"Well, I, for one, don't see anything here that can help us," I said. "Uh...no offense. Maybe we should check another part of the castle?"
Klaymen nodded, then turned toward a red door on the other end of the room. When we got closer, I realized it was an elevator.
We both got in and began to go up to the next floor of the castle. While we were in there, I realized something: the elevator music in the Neverhood is just as bad as the kind back home.
