I highly recommend it, actually I recommend all of his stuff, both the stories and the AI videos. Ache was the first story I read, I've since read everything else, but I think Ache is still my favorite, maybe because it was the first, though the Juno Tapes is a close second.

I tried doing a picture of Elle, but that was early on in my attempts at AI, and I wasn't really used to the idiosyncrasies of the AI yet, and I wasn't all that good at writing prompts. Well, I'm still not, but I was worse then. I originally tried to do the subway scene. The AI just did not like that at all. For some reason, the AI really did not like idea of amputees in electric wheelchairs, and trying to get the clothes the way I wanted was not working. I shelved the idea saying I would get back to it eventually. I guess eventually is now. I switched ideas to a different scene, one where I'm conveniently not fighting with the AI about her clothes and electric wheelchair. I'm not sure I captured the scene exactly the way it was meant to be portrayed, but overall, I think I'm happy with the results.
