LOOK!: Fossils which I found and gemstones I own.
I have a quite BIG gemstone and mineral collection on one of my shelves
This is an updated version of my collection since I got more minerals few days ago
here it is:
The fossils on the very front (the black pieces) were actually found by ME when I went fishing with my grandfather.
Here are some pictures of them so you can see what kind of fossils they are:
On the right is a fossilized seed + some plant stems and on the right is either a fossilized scale or some kind of plant such as cactus -
Here is a very well preserved fossil of a plant. If you can't tell where it it, look on the right bottom corner. You will see the fancy shaped leaves. -
A very well preserved fossil of many plants clustered together. My guess is that

Hi there I improved the group for you. But would it be possible for you to add some more folders? because I'd like the group to be more organized. ^^
invislerblack Featured By Owner May 12, 2017
Sure, what kind of folders do you need?

What might Amphicyonids be like if they weren't extinct? More like dogs, or bears?

I mean they look like dogs but were as big as black bears.

there are different theories about them

because they drove the big dinohyus into extinction some think they acted like dogs, hunted in packs and used speed to take down bigger pray, and in this way starving the dinohyus

but most likeley they just hunted like no recent day animal does now.
he has the body of a fast running animal so it would give chase instead of scavage, but it would most likly use his powerfull claws to more or less PUNCH his prey, breaking bones this way and have it fall over.
Bears also have these powerfull punches but they aren't build to give chase for a long time, like dogs and amphicyon are.

ofcourse we'll never know for sure how it hunted but i think it's a pretty interesting theory
