“Like a Hell-Broth Boil and Bubble”

Qianzhousaurus sinensis, Nanshiungosaurus brevispinus. An acrylic painting of the trio of Qianzhousaurus siblings, the Weird Sisters, gorging on a Nanshiungosaurus they had taken down.

Directly inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Boris Vallejo, The Dryads, it was a challenge try to translate the poses of a human figures into something that would work for theropods.

This is the final of the four Halloween pieces I did for 2022.

Completed in mid October 2022.
