"Khan"
Tarbosaurus bataar. An airbrush painting. Let's get it out of the way, his name IS Khan. No more references to the Bollywood movie "My Name is Khan" with Shahrukh Khan, kapesh?
I got the name from the Mongolian word for ruler, ie Genghis Khan or Kublai Khan.
A kind of revisioning of my first paleoart acrylic painting
. This baby goes together with my previous airbrush painting, Helushka 
which was also inspired by the clip of the fighting tyrannosaurs from Dinosaur Revolution (which can be seen on youtube [link] ).
Khan, like Helushka, is staring down a rival, using a death glare to convey his message.
Done using airbrush acrylics and water-soluble color pencils.
Completed on the 27th of August 2011.
