Description
“Hey, That’s Mine!”
Tyrannosaurus rex, Quetzalcoatlus northropi, Alamosaurus sanjuanensis. An acrylic painting of a young Tyrannosaurus losing its potential prey to a subadult Quetzalcoatlus.
This stemmed from an idea I had back in 2015 or 2016, which I shelved for a long time until recently. I used two resin models I have (a Musee Quetzalcoatlus kit and a Cen Dao Yi Nanotyrannus/Tyrannosaurus kit) as visual reference to get the composition, perspective, and lighting right.
Completed in early April 2021.
Done using acrylics, color pencils, and Photoshop CC.
