"Crone of the Forest" (ink drawing)

Speculative tyrannosaurid. An ink drawing I did of Baba Yaga last year right after Inktober. 

I did this shortly after Inktober ended, using some Copic markers I had purchased. It was one of the first times I had used Copics and I quite enjoyed it. This was based on an illustration of Baba Yaga by Allen Douglas cdn.inprnt.com/thumbs/78/4e/78…. I tried to capture the pose of his Baba Yaga and translate it into a theropod sketch. 

This will serve as a template for a digital painting with a dark forest or swamp behind her, hopefully I can get done by Halloween this year. I might make her looks a little gaunter to go with the crone theme.
