My thoughts on Coraline
Ya' know how your parents often taught you not to speak to nor accept gifts strangers, lest they lure you? I've had that thought whilst watching Coraline , as the Beldam (the Other Mother) uses treats and toys to lure in a child into her world, much like how a kidnapper would do to lure a child into their homes or vehicles. Usually, when the movie is watched, no one notices that as its not entirely there, not out in the open anyway, rather it is there subtly.
