Saturday. A curse and a blessing.
I'm gonna go write or something.
Philosophy Ramble: MaturityI'm going to take a little bit to be philsophical, since no one looks at my DeviantART page, this is just another way for me to write to myself.
So, every time I write something down, trying to sound professional, or like an adult, or whatever, it usually seems fine when I first type it. Then I come back to it a few months later and wonder what I was thinking. Eventually, I'm bound to look back it this post and think, "Wow, did I really act like that?" Already I look back at what I've written so far, and it seems silly!
Maybe maturity is all in the mind. At the age of 6 or something, I took myself very seriously! Now I think I acted childish when I was a 6 year old(well, I was 6, so why wouldn't I be?). I take this philisophical ramble I'm writing at the moment seriously, but later, as I mentioned, I'm probably going to think it's crazy.
When do you "achieve" maturity, really? In some cases, I bet if an adult did something, you wouldn't bat an eye. But if a kid did it, well.
Birthday LewtJust thought I'd make a list of the awesome items I got for my birthday.
*zelda noise* You got two packs of gum(empty within a day), a pair of waaay too small shoes, SOCKS GALORE YES, a plush creeper(Which I named Moss /shot), a creeper hat, and a cake that looked like your Minecraft face!
Of Old GamesI desperately wanted the title to have alliteration, but this is the best I could do. Sorry. Now, on with the journal!
So, a long time ago, okay, maybe a few years back, not sure when, I played this game called "Toontown." It's an MMO for kids basically. Made by Disney.
I loved this game when I was younger. I mean like it was the only computer game I played.
Not that I knew any others...And yesterday I found out it was shutting down.
Now, I haven't been a fan of the game for years. I found a bunch of other games and eventually got to Steam and Minecraft and other stuff. But it feels rather weird to see it closing. It's like I don't really want to play on it, but I don't want to see it close.
So I played the game for old times' sake. Memberships are free since the game is ending. It was weird to experience it all over again and I am honestly sad to see it go. Even if it is a little...(insert word here), you know? It's strange...
RelaxI've come to realize that lately Sunday is the day I just sit down and relax. I didn't get a chance to do much of that yesterday, so it feels like my week is kinda messed up. But it's still summer. I could relax today, but it just seems to go against my schedule. Mondays are somewhat busy. Tuesdays are lazy. Wednesdays are really busy. Thursdays are lazy. Fridays are a mix. Saturdays are usually a mix. And Sunday's for relaxing. Other days lazy still feels kinda like busy. It feels like I have to be lazy and play games on Monday. It just doesn't occur to me to relax.
The thing that sets Sunday apart from the lazy days, as I mentioned earlier, is that I feel inclined to stay on the computer all day. Sunday just feels relaxing. After church, anything goes! But I mainly use that day to be calm.
It's just perspective. Some people are bound to a schedule. Some make it up on a whim. It's human nature and we don't really think about it. ...In case you haven't guessed, I'm
Hello Friends New and Old!Hey gang! This entry's been a long time coming and I've got a lot of ground to cover, so let's just jump in!
First off, to whoever got me the core membership: THANK YOU!! Your kindness was a big factor in my decision to be more active on dA again. That was a wonderful present so much gratitude and hugs. Wow.
NEW FOLLOWERS (and curious onlookers!)
Welcome! Welcome! And thank you so much for your interest in my work. Regardless of what got you here, I really appreciate your time and energy. I've gotten a lot of questions about my work, views, and all sorts of other stuff. Since I've been away for a while, I'm gonna do an FAQ in a week or two to get you guys up to speed. I did want to give you folks a shout-out though since I know there's been an influx with some of my older work making the rounds again. I'm very grateful to have you here.
Now, to my longtime friends here: You're are probably wondering "Where have you been, K-Bo?" Wow. Where to start... Without getting into to
YouTube stuff + Update stuffSo, things are little bit hectic right now, and YouTube has been giving me a bit of hassle lately. I seem to have been losing subscribers since my last stream on my main channel, with a very big loss on my last Animated Atrocities upload, which is worrying, especially because any theory that I've had towards the numbers doesn't fit all of the evidence. (If people were getting sick of me talking about Growing Around stuff, then I should have had a positive turnaround when I uploaded an Animated Atrocities video). Add to that that like every single video this year has been copyright claimed, and let's just say that things have been discouraging as of late.
Other than that, I'm trying to stay optimistic, although the hot summer is making that a little bit difficult. But, some stuff that's coming up I guess. Most importantly is my Animated Atrocity review - with the upcoming Rugrats reboot, it's time to tackle Angelica and Suzie Preschool Daze, that show there that lasted four episo

Hyper-Surreal Fractal Chess Set - The GAMEThe 3D PRINTED
The Project I have been working on subconsciously for years, which I mentioned in my previous post is now finished.
--- The Hyper Surreal Fractalic Mystical Chess set - My Masterpieces ---
The full set is a play in 7 acts about humanity, the evolution and the quest for knowledge through enlightenment and superfluity until the day when mankind finally became the plague of the planet.
A chess set immensely more surreal than Max Ernsts, Marcel Duchamps and Dalís sets.
Chess was made to be played with pieces of pure fractal mathematics, I now know that!

16 Examples of how NOT to Pitch a LoglineI joined a Twitter dealie where you pitch to agents over Twitter, and I swear I learned more in one day about pitching than I have reading any number of how-to-write books.
A logline is a one sentence pitch of your story. It can be used on Twitter, but it's also used in person as an elevator pitch. It's the distilled essence of stakes, story, and character. Some people find it frustrating and intimidating, but I find it easier to do a logline than a query.
I got a few bites from agents, so I was quite pleased. I gained a lot of sympathy for them around 3 in the afternoon, though. Every pitch starts looking the same, and the really, really stupid ones start standing out. Some suffer from bad metaphors, bland stakes, or simple incomprehensibility. I've got 16 examples right here for you, so if any of your loglines look like these, you may want to consider a rewrite. (Incidentally, don't post your own loglines for my perusal. I'm not going to sit here and tell a bunch of people they
