Car Art by Millar
Houston, Texas

I have lived in Houston, Texas since the mid 1960’s. I love the automobile, especially those of the muscle car era. The thunder of the exhaust, the smell of burning rubber, and the need for speed offers that rush of adrenaline that routine daily life cannot offer.

The images portrayed in the art are not just about the automobiles, but the culture that has evolved around them, namely the human factor. Many of the images reflect the enthusiasm of the car cruises and shows, the restorations, the barn finds, the spirit of competition, and the joy that common everyday people find through their romance with the automobile.

Most of the photography presented in these galleries was created from photos taken at local car events in and around Houston, Texas. If you are from the area and happen to own an old car, you may see your car in one of the photos.

If you see something you like, but prefer a different format, please leave your request. I will try to accommodate you if at all possible.

If you are interested in booking a personal session for your vehicle to be transformed into wall art, please contact us through email at amillar1@yahoo.com.

Thank you for stopping by!

A friend is writing an article for Journey With Olds Magazine, August 2019 issue.  The article is about his 1961 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible that he finished building a few years ago.  He asked me to provide the photography for the article and I was happy to do so.  I created several portraits of the car from different angles with the Conoco Tower Station in the background.  Other shots included the instrument panel, dash, door panels, interior, custom logo projection from door to pavement, unique front bumper, leathered-out trunk trim package, and custom engine bay.  He plans at least eight more articles for other Oldsmobiles in his coll

I had printed a book of our trip down Route 66, Tucumcari, NM to Shamrock, TX, on Shutterfly and showed it to some car guys at a local car show.  They wanted to know if they could buy one.  I said yes, but it cost me $150 with 50% off sale.  They freaked!  I said I was looking for a less expensive way of producing it and I have finally found it at MAGCloud.  The best part is that you don't even have to buy one.  I produced a cover and 60 pages in an 80# 17" x 11" tabloid format with metal spiral for just under $25.  They let you put whatever markup you like on it too and will list it for free on their site.  I finally finished it and uploaded

After working my entire career as a motor engineer with a passion for American muscle, i can only say that your gallery is absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much.
Oh no, not again! Oh god, I'm nearing my expiration date!

Thanks Deviant for announcing to the world that today is my birthday. Now, everyone’s asking, where’s the party? D*mn! Now what?

I truly appreciate your awesome and heart catching wordings in your birthday greetings, I know few of my friends write genuine wishes and many of you just do a copy paste job from the internet.

Regardless of how many years pass by, I will never throw my cell phone away simply because it has your wishes in it. Thanks for such sweet words.
Thanks for the Favourite
