Two weeks later and I have finally cleared out my messages. That's what you get when you go on hiatus for four years... and have something chosen as a daily deviation in your absence.
So yes, I'm back, sorta. I do mostly sewing nowadays, when I feel like it, which isn't with anything approaching regularity. But I've gotta prepare for the Fanime Artist Alley, so I'll probably have some more stuff to post in the not-to-distant future.
Mostly, I'll just be stalking other artists, now that Adblock is keeping dA's advertisers from downloading viruses onto my system. Pay no attention to the mouse behind the curtain!
Well, Shonegold, the gallery director for Pixel Art, and I have come to an irreconcilable disagreement over the definition of pixel art. By her definition, and the new rule she's applied to the gallery, my stuff doesn't qualify, despite the fact that I placed each pixel, one by one, myself. Understandably, I think, I'm a little upset at this. I, and other artists, have tried repeatedly to get her to understand why we are opposed to this rule, but it appears that she has her blinders on when it comes to the issue.

Wow, I got a Daily Deviation for my Friends doll... which I only noticed because my message center blew up. O.o I'm working my way through them all, but it's taking a while. So, I may not comment on everybody, but thanks to everyone who commented, favorited, and watched. And thank you to ShoneGold (I have no idea how to link someone), who featured it. That's the first time something of mine got over 100 views, let alone 2,000.
And now that I've had my 15 minutes of fame, I shall slip back into obscurity, since I am such a lazy person that if I manage to finish one piece of pixel art in a month, I'm doing good.
