With no more than a waft of her wings, Sirin sprang forward, more floating than flying.

Instantly a wind swirled between the two faye scattering fallen leaves as they spiralled into the air.

It was not the wind however that gave Sirin cause, but the emergence in Mel's hand of a sword, although that too paled into semi-indifference as a pair of irridescent wings appeared behind Mel.

"Do not make me manifest fully, demon." Mel warned as ripples of fire started running along the half formed blade.
