Looking for some help.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix the image so that when you click on it to view the full size it stops it from washing out? I had first uploaded an .png file, then changed it to a .jpg.

My first book cover!!
I just found out that my very talented friend Clifton Fomby got his book Chance Encounters published. I was very honored when he asked if he could use one of my images for the cover. I just saw the book on the Smashwords site and it put a big smile on my face!!

First ever rendered image - 2007

In 2007 I found the Renderosity Gallery and saw all the images there. I wanted to be able to create images like the ones I saw there. I saw an add for Daz Studios and since it was free I figured I didn't have anything lose. So I downloaded the software and followed the Getting started tutioral and low and behold I had my first Fairy render.
I was so excited and proud of this image and showed it anyone and everyone who would look at it. I still smile at it fondly and it shows me just how far I have come.
I would love to see your first renders so if you upload it, please let me know so I can leave

This is a DA problem. I've "Saved as" the image to my desktop, opened it, and it's perfect, no washed out / over lit parts. I suggest you open a ticket in the help center.
