Description
Here is my 3rd portrait:
Fabulous Gemma Arterton as Tess Durbeyfield from BBC's period drama "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" (based on Thomas Hardy's novel). I thought the way she played her role was fantastic, which made the whole series extremely moving!
Anyone else enjoy the drama / novel? It'd be lovely to hear what you thought.
I used graphite on Bristol Extra Smooth Board (sometimes a bit too smooth for my liking!) and all the usual tools: putty eraser, tissues and even eyeshadow applicators!
It seemed it took me forever to finish it, but I really feel it was worth it. It was my first attempt on this paper, which made it a great learning experience.
