Tribute to Graffiti

Toronto's graffiti and street artists provide beautiful examples of artistic work taking over our modern ----sometimes artless---- cities. My interest in Graffiti lies in the following question: doesn't Graffiti provide a clue regarding the relation between property and art? Perhaps this very important question will be taken up in a journal further on.

So, I had added this to my favorites a year or so ago...and I was walking through Kensington Market today in downtown Toronto (where I live) and saw this painted on the wall and remembered that I had seen it on deviant art.

very nice :)

Thanks Mr. Toad. These Graffiti artists are amazing. Do you have beautiful graffiti near your place?

not really. here only the occassional gang scrawl and they get right out and paint over them as soon as they appear.

Hey Tim! Thanks. It is truly a beautiful graffiti, isn't it? I am thinking about writing a journal on this issue. Let's hope it is soon. :-)
