These are hand assembled and very realistic mechanical Spiders made from the recycled parts of old watches.

The legs consist of some 48 different watch winding stems that have been broken into the various "leg" parts and then soldered at the joints (with lead free silver bearing solder) into a very lifelike position. The legs alone require 32 very tiny soldered points.

The legs were attached to bodies made of soldered strap springs, watch stems, and nickle and brass cylinders pulled from watches.

The abdomens were created from tiny dead automotive light bulbs whose leads are attached to the body with solder.

There is no glue or resin to be found in the pieces...everything is soldered into place with metal. These are one of a kind works of art, never to be exactly reproduced.

He is extremely fragile and should be handled sparingly and very gently, and is most definitely not a toy.

I was thinking more of a smaller Beady Long Legs, but they look like Snagrets too, now that you mention it

...I hated those Snagrets though.
I was thinking of like...a new game, a game where you're a steampunk engineer, and you have to use your gadgets for certain things.

I don't think anyone liked Snagrets friend. Cool idea though!
