My Bio

A life-long comic book geek (And proud of it), I've spend most of my life devoting my time, work and attention to the art of sequential storytelling, and loving every minute of it.

A graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I'm now working as a freelance artist and illustrator. I'm not exclusively limited to comic art, expanding my skills to fine art, painting, digital art and even photography. What's life without a bit of variation.

So towards the end of this month November 18-Dec 1, I’m going to be traveling out to New York with a friend of mine visiting from Australia.  Considering all the stuff we wanna do while he’s here, I’m not really expecting to have a lot of free time to get work done of the comic during that time.  As such, I think it’s time to put a call out for Guest Strips for LiC for those two weeks. Here are the restrictions/requirements for guest strip submissions: 980 px wide 72 dpi file (preferably JPG or PNG). Must be turned in by November 17th to amdiazart@gmail.com with “GUEST STRIP” in the subject! Include your name the way you’d like ...

Hey everyone,So as I mentioned in my previous post, at the end of this month, I'll be moving to my new home in Los Angeles.  Now as anyone who has ever moved will tell ya, this leaves me with a LOT of stuff I need to do before, during and after the move.  As such, I'm pretty sure this is going to interfere pretty badly with updates on LiC.  :(So I'm kinda hoping that maybe I could get some help. That's right gang, I'm posting a call for guest strips for Lost in Confusion (www.lostinconfusioncomic.net)!Those interested in submitting should send the following to amdiazart@gmail.com:- The Guest Comic Strip itself (Duh).  This should be a jpeg ...

Really Busy

0 min read
Hey guys,Long time, no chat.  So remember how in my last journal post I was talking about how I had not job, and how I was desprately trying to find a job.  Well good news.  I found work. In fact I found three different jobs!  I'm a waiter at Cheesecake Factory in San Francisco, I'm a graphic design intern at an Urban Design company, and starting Jan 1, I'm going to an art teacher too!Needless to say, I'm keeping busy.  Alas, that's been kinda been putting a damper on the art stuff.  I've been working crazy-tons on graphic design stuff, and assorted other projects for the internship, and AT THE VERY LEAST 4-5 days a week at Cheesecake.  Be...

Pleasure is all mine. These are gorgeous.
finally getting stuff on your page huh?
More or less yeah. I finally got the page up in general a few days ago. I kept meaning to set it up sooner, but kept putting it off because of the main website and the blog.
