A bit of a girly girl who luvs to go out and party, but also sometimes luvs a quiet night in curled up on the sofa, with a good book and a glass of wine. Or maybe relaxing in a nice, warm, soothing bubble bath.

It was nice of Emmett's/Emma's/Emica's Mom to have that talk with Emmett/Emma/Emica, but I still have my concerns about Emmett's/Emma's/Emica's mental state. Especially with how quickly Emmett/Emma/Emica keeps slipping and thinking of Kumiko's parents as his/her own parents. While the Mom did mention that Emmett/Emma/Emica still remembers who he/she used be, what's to say that if the watch hits 100%, that he/she would lose memories of ever being Emmett and Emma. He/she has seemingly had memories/thoughts/knowledge changed and/or removed/erased before.
Really hope Emmett/Emma/Emica goes back to being a boy by the end of this. While he'll probably go back to the way he used to think before he became a re-gen, maybe he'll remember his experiences and insert them into his boy life. He could do football and ballet, for example. He might not remember the Japanese language after going back to being a boy, but he could always study and learn it, so that he could know the language again. And you mentioned that Emmett/Emma/Emica would possibly see Kumiko as a sister rather than a possible girlfriend. That's fine. Nothing wrong with a boy and girl being friends. And he could still date guys as a boy. Or maybe his newfound interest in boys could combine with any interest in girls he had before being a re-gen and he could be bisexual.
Though, if he/she does become a girl for good, I would at least hope it's as Emma. At least that way, he/she would just be a girl version of himself/herself. Wouldn't keep thinking of someone else's parents as his/her own. Not thinking of having grown up in some other life as some other person with some other family. The only thing that would change for him/her as Emma would just be his/her gender. To be fair, Emma could still be into football and now also be into ballet. Emma could date boys and even date girls, if she wants. Emma could enjoys feminine clothes, like dresses and skirts, and other times, wear "boyish" clothes, like shirt, pants and sneakers. Emma could still be like sisters with Kumiko. Emma could even learn the Japanese language and still take a trip to Japan with Kumiko. Emma can have options. But at least as Emma, her personality/memories/thoughts/feelings/etc. wouldn't completely change and/or disappear. As Emma, they would change, but overall, she would just be a girly girl version of Emmett. And at least then, she would be some version of Emmett and not a copy/clone of some other girl.
3- Boyshorts and a sports bra
Out of curiosity, will the clothes physically change Sammy into a girl or will Sammy just be cross-dressing? Like the leotard looks like something a little girl would wear, so if that got picked, would Sammy turn into a little girl? Either physically changing into a girl or just cross-dressing is fine. I was just curious where this is going.
Oh no. It looks like Emmett/Emma/Emica is starting to lose/forget his/her memories as Emmett and they are altering so that now he's/she's remembering things as if she was always Emica. How long before Emmett's memories alter enough until he/she only remembers himself/herself as Emica, a Japanese girl and twin sister to Kumiko. I still really hope Emmett/Emma/Emica goes back to being a boy. He/she can keep some of his/her "girly" interests, like clothes and ballet, as a boy.
And as a boy, Emmett can start dating Kumiko. Especially since I don't want Kumiko to end up with Frankie.
A few thoughts:
I'm kind of surprised that when the Japanese temple came up, Emmett/Emma/Emica didn't have some sort of new memory flashback. Glad he/she didn't.
Kind of worried how easily and habitual it is for Emmett/Emma/Emica to speak Japanese without thinking of his/her Mother and that she can't speak it and his/her mother having to ask him/her to speak English.
To be fair, he/she can still be into ballet when he/she goes back to being a boy. Nothing wrong with boys being into ballet. In fact, in a way, ballet can be good to learn and apply to football. Learning ballet might help to move and swerve across the football field.
And to be fair, if Emmett/Emma/Emica goes back to being a boy, nothing should stop him/her and Kumiko from staying friends. Emmett seemed like a decent person as a boy before his/her gender got swapped. He just had a crappy friend, Frankie. If he goes back to being a boy, he could still stop being friends with Frankie and get better friends. And he could still be friends with Kumiko. Maybe even be boyfriend and girlfriend with her. Emmett could even learn Japanese again. It won't be his first language anymore, but he could always relearn it.
Oh no. I really hope Emmett/Emma/Emica changes back to a boy.
It was bad enough that his/her gender was changed against his will and his/her personality/self identity is also being changed against his/her will. As Emma, at least he/she was just a girl version of himself/herself. A girly girl version, sure, but at least a girl version of Emmett. Now it seems like he/she is being turned into a complete stranger. A kid who looks nothing like his/her family and looks like more like she's related to Kumiko than he/she does to his/her own family. And even worse, he/she is getting new memories planted in his/her head of being Kumiko's twin sister and Kumiko's Mom being her Mom instead. Emmett/Emma/Emica really needs to tell his/her Mom about these new memories thing. How long before he/she loses her memories of being Emmett and Emma before he/she only remembers being Emica and doesn't recognize his/her own mother anymore and only knows Kumiko's Mom as his/her Mom. This alien device seems to be able to remove thoughts/information/knowledge out of people's minds apparently, as evidenced by Emmett/Emma/Emica losing memories/knowledge of learning and understanding english as a first language.
So not only do I want Emmett/Emma/Emica to turn back into a boy because it seems like he/she is possibly only enjoying being a girly girl because the alien device is messing with his/her head, changing his/her thoughts, feelings, personality, etc. against his/her will, but also because the alien device seems to be changing him/her physically and mentally into a completely different person who is someone else's kid and I don't want the Mom to lose her son/daughter.
