Berta and the Wild Hunt

This picture is based on an ancient european legend.
There was a particular night where people believed the Goddess Berta (or Perchta depending on where) would fly throught the skies with a follow of magic beings and enchanted animals, and they would run and play and dance all night long. If a human was caught on their way, they would have taken him or her in their wild and happy run forever.
People used to stay home that night
