Powers: Geokinesis, Earth Embodiment, emits enough radiation that spending only 30 seconds near her will result in dizziness and fatigue. Two minutes near her and a person's cells will begin to hemorrhage. But when someone is exposed for five or more minutes, they’re dead.

Origin
"Spirits of nature were prominent in the time before the US was laid waste by nuclear bombs. With much of the environment changed by the radiation, many of the nature spirits were wiped out but those that have managed to survive had to adapt to the toxic environment. However the radiation had the unintended side effect of allowing the spirits to manifest themselves through the contaminated portions of their element.

The amount of radiation that these physical manifestations emit varies from a few very small, sparce blips on the Geiger counter to having your cells hemorrhage and your innards bleed out your orifices when in close proximity."

Here's something that post nuclear stories hadn't tried yet (As far as I know), radioactive nature elementals. The earth version of this concept came from the Elephant's Foot of Chernobyl, a mass of melted metal, sand and other radioactive materials that formed during the Chernobyl disaster. The Elephant's Foot was also known as "Medusa", since if your close enough to get a good look at it, you're pretty much gonna die horribly.

So about this specific elemental shown here. She is basically one of the most toxic beings in the PDRU-N, at least to non-mutants. So she has to hide herself away to make sure that no one ends up having their organs fall apart due to the amount of radiation she emits. But hiding away is a lonely existence, until someone comes along who she could be considered her only friend. Is it a dull-witted super mutant girl with a heart of gold or a loud-mouthed mercenary? Who knows?
