Okay, I just need to comment on Ne Zha 2's box office results. In a mere 2 weeks, it has already managed to surpass Frozen and Mario. It's very quickly become a contender for the highest grossing animated film of all time. But I mostly wanna comment on how shocking this is to me, especially since a lot of the time, foreign animated films, even the insanely popular ones, don't typically do that well worldwide. And I'm not surprised Ne Zha would be a success. It's like with works by Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai. You kind of expect those to generate a lot of attention. And it's a similar case with Ne Zha as I am aware that this is one of if not China's most popular animated film. But man, I did not think it was such a huge deal that its sequel would do this good in such a short period of time. And I'm here for it. I love this.
