Denouncing God in all his supremacy,

One near lifetime of ignorance,

And divine revelation.
Chalking it up to the way the world works,
No sense of the omnipotent presence,
Peace of mind in religious chastity.
Leading a diminutive existence without essence,
You claim no need of a numen,
(In fear of something of substance?)
Or divine manifestation
As time passes irrevocably,
And age marks your guise with disdain,
Seeds of doubt sown amidst your supposition
Lack of spiritual fulfilment showing strain?
You draw close to departure,
(In fear of grave miscalculation)
From divine sustentation.
Deathbeds aren't as comfortable as they used to be.
Kindling prospects of underworld,
Beelzebub and his legions exhumed to cast you asunder
In a maelstrom of destiny unfurled
You neglected to safeg
