Valestra- a vampiric warrior armed with a massive, blood-drinking sword, the more victims she slays the more monstrous and powerful her form becomes. Her family was once a clan of powerful aristocrats that ruled over a rustic country far to the east amid forbidding mountains. For centuries they were keepers of the Ravening Blade, a demonic weapon that craved blood and promised great power to its wielder. Valestra fell prey to its whispers and freed it from its shackles, using it to murder the rest of her family. She has become a creature of legend, a horror tale that has persisted to the present day when she awakes in the aftermath of the Dark War to feast upon the survivors.

Abilities:

Valestra possesses the standard array of vampiric abilities, undead immortality, superhuman strength and speed, etc. As she cuts down victims with the Ravening Blade it consumes the blood and empowers her in two stages. In the first stage, she sprouts bat-like wings that greatly increase her speed and mobility, allowing her to attack faster and more often. Once enough blood is consumed, she undergoes a second metamorphosis into a monstrous, multi-winged bat-demon. In this state, she is virtually invincible, too strong to resist and too fast to evade. However, this power will eventually fade if the Ravening Blade is not fed fresh blood. In this way, she is forever bound to the blade and a slave to its will without even realizing it.
