Sunstone-Portrait

Sunstone- a creature of unknown origins that appears to be made of living crystal, he travels throughout the cosmos and visits total annihilation upon whatever world he happens to land on. His body is a massive solar battery that soaks up the radiation of the nearby sun and then in some kind of religious fervor, Sunstone proceeds to use that power to destroy the planet, claiming it is the will of the Sun itself. Once the surface of the planet is charred to a lifeless waste, he plunges his axe deep into the crust and ignites the core, causing the world to violently explode. He then rides off on the debris until he crashes on another world and repeats the cycle. Few have ever managed to halt him in his apparent crusade against inhabited worlds, and fewer still have ever survived his onslaught.
