Sif- a gray rat woman from the northern region of the Rad Lands where the Nuclear Winter still reigns, her small community was once plagued by witches who would take the form of giant black cats and devour the people. To defend themselves, her great grandmother started the Obsidian Hunters, a clan of warriors dedicated to fighting and slaying evil mystics. Her glaive, known as Witchbane, has bathed in the blood of a hundred witches, giving it a mystical power all its own. Sif proudly carries on her grandmother’s traditions, but due to a severe gambling problem, she found herself deeply in debt and had to sell her services as a bodyguard to the young adventurer Fogwyrth. She laments that it is more like a babysitting job, as the young frog has no sense of self-preservation. Never-the-less, Sif stays by his side and browbeats the spirit of King Ozmodorn out of him when he gets out of control. She would love to quit this job, but she keeps blowing her pay on games of chance and cheap booze when she inevitably loses.

Abilities: Sif comes from a long line of warrior maidens trained specifically to fight opponents with magical abilities. Her training has made her more resilient against spells and other enchantments, giving her a measure of immunity to magical effects. Her glaive is made of special materials that disrupt mystical energies, allowing her to deflect spells and cut through magic barriers. It is steeped in the blood of evil witches and can channel that malice into a massive burst that can temporarily nullify all magic power in a wide area around her. Unknown to her, the malice within her glaive is what causes her to be so unlucky when she gambles. It is the witches’ revenge.
