Pontifex Novaris- the leader of the Children of Light cult that has spread throughout the galaxy, he proclaims the will of their chosen messiah, the Starlight Child, and calls on the faithful to follow his commandments to save their own souls. In truth, Novaris is a skilled manipulator and emotional vampire, feeding off the devotion of his flock to fuel his considerable psychic abilities. Since the Wildstarz absconded with his messianic puppet, he has declared holy war on the outlaws in order to get him back, turning the formerly peace-proclaiming congregation into dangerous, bloodthirsty zealots.
