A side effect was that her brain also grew in proportion and became more than 1,000 times more complex than a normal human's. Bio- Ethel Belmont was a gifted child in more ways than one. As her size increased, she became stronger and more intelligent, excelling in all manner of sports and academia in her younger days. As an adult, she became an award-winning physicist and a celebrated member of the hero team, Alpha Squadron. She was considered an icon for capable women and a role model for young women around the world. During the team's conflict with Ferro Pharaoh, she was the one who discerned the workings of the Omnipyramid and devised a plan to neutralize it. This plan would seem to have been unsuccessful in the wake of the team's disappearance. The only thing that was found of them was a lock of Monumenta's hair which was placed on display in the Cosmopolis Museum of Heroism.
