Melchior-Portrait

Melchior- a legendary warrior from the Rad Lands, he was a lion-man who achieved enlightenment through mastery of an ancient form of martial arts known as the Fist of the Beast King. He was rumored to have been sited during the Dark War, but reports were scattered. Trykon encountered him years ago when he was a common thug working for a bandit gang and Melchior defeated him soundly, inspiring him to use his strength to help others. If the Rad Lands were ever to have a king, it would have been him, but he seems to appear and vanish like the desert wind.

Abilities:

While Melchior's imposing physique grants him great strength, it is his mastery of his inner spiritual power that makes him a nearly invincible fighter. With it he can strike directly at an opponent's soul, bypassing whatever material defense or strength they might possess. This allows him to battle supernatural and non-corporeal entities as well, which is why he was so effective against the dark matter demons of the Necroverse. His spirit power can also affect the material world in the same manner, allowing him to break through any barrier or redirect even attacks made of energy.
