Aaron was formerly in a romantic relationship with his elemental opposite, Torch of Liberty, but chose to break it off when her excessive anger issues became a detriment to her work and a danger to the team. He tried to work through them with her, but they were deeply rooted in personal issues that she refused to share with him. It was his hope that by cutting her off, she would seek out the help she needed. He has since begun a relationship with his teammate Serenade, and the two seem to be very happy together.
