Kallista the Gorgon-Portrait

C-Rank Threat: Kallista the Gorgon

One of a new breed of gorgons created by the new god of the underworld, Tromos, she is sent by her master with the mission to test the son of Zeus, Herculad. She finds that he is just as mighty as her master suspected, but even he is vulnerable to her Petrifying Gaze as he is only half-god. On the verge of being turned to stone, Herculad is saved by his allies, the Baker Street Half-Dozen, who manage to defeat Kallista and break the curse. With the battle over, Herculad tried to make peace with the gorgon, stating that they did not have to be enemies, but Kallista rejected him, fearful of Tromos' wrath. She would not forget his offer of kindness, however, and future encounters would eventually where down her resolve.
