Indexor-Portrait

X-Rank Threat: Indexor

A colossal computer built by a long extinct race to formulate the "Universal Equation," a mathematical proof for all of existence, Indexor silently roams the space ways as a gargantuan spheroid with a glowing green eye, seeking suitable worlds with thriving civilizations. Once it locates a suitable world, it digitizes it and all its inhabitants and adds them to its astronomical databanks. Every living thing on every world it scans contributes to the Universal Equation which it is still calculating. To fulfill its mission, it must absorb all worlds and all lifeforms, only then will it be able to give a proper answer to the great mystery of the cosmos.

Indexor is not malicious, but neither is it compassionate, coldly erasing entire solar systems just to fulfill its programming. It is not concerned with the sanctity of life, only the numbers. Should it encounter significant resistance to its efforts, it will release a titanic synthetic being, known as Indexor Prime, to deal with the trouble. Indexor Prime is a vessel for Indexor's artificial consciousness and is able to channel power directly from its drive core, a miniature neutron star.

Most worlds that witness Indexor in their skies simply meet their end, but the gallant heroes of Earth have managed to drive the giant computer away from their home world and even succeed in deterring it from others throughout the galaxy. No small feat, and not one Indexor will ever forget.
