Ah, what more classic villain could there be than good ole James Hook? Equal parts eloquent gentleman, murderous cutthroat, sinister mastermind, and sniveling coward. He is all things to all people, an object of both fear and ridicule for children the world over.

There have been many Captain Hooks over the years, but the Disney version still outshines the rest for just how multifaceted he is. The over-the-top slapstick antics when he tries to escape the Croc are a masterclass in comedic timing. Yet even after this humiliation, he still manages to be threatening and succeeds in blowing up a beloved Disney icon. She got better, but still, a win is a win.
