In December 1916 the Argento-Brazilians began to mobilize their troops towards Turkey to relieve Russia. However, France was on the verge of collapse and called for help and it was necessary to change plans and break the Moroccan lock.

11 million men, almost half of all the planes and submarines, the surface fleet and thousands of armored vehicles were launched on the 5 million Anglo-Saxon defenders of Morocco in January 1917.

The Anglo-Saxon lines held firm but quickly the supply became problematic as the losses in cargo ships were numerous.

Sensing that they would not be able to keep up the pace, the Anglo-Saxons chose to evacuate Morocco in March 1917 to avoid the catastrophic loss of their entire contingent. On April 8, 1917, the Brazilian-Argentines completed the conquest of Morocco at the cost of 1,200,000 dead. The Anglo-Saxons leave 500,000 prisoners and 500,000 dead.

Now the Argento-Brazilians hold the Mediterranean and can rescue France. However, this battle has caused heavy losses that will take time to overcome.
