In September 1914, the Brazilians landed in French Africa and found themselves in North Africa in October to assist the French against the English who were in Morocco but also in Egypt.

The Brazilians' goal is to take Morocco in order to break the English blockade and supply Spain and France, which risk asphyxiation in the medium term. Note that the Strait of Gibraltar is closed because it is guarded on each side by the cannons of both camps. The English still have the Suez Canal to access the Mediterranean. Italy is neutral for the moment but will not be able to remain so for long because it supplies France.

In December 1914 the Brazilians gathered 1.5 million soldiers against Morocco. The English sent as many and the battle really began.

It would last 6 months and in June 1915 there were 300,000 French, 4 million Brazilians, 2 million Argentinians who faced 3 million English assisted by 2 million Yankees. The English had to call on the USA to help them and they managed to stay in the Atlas Mountains.

In June 1915, after fighting that killed around 400,000 soldiers on each side, the Brazilians lifted the pressure. The Italians were then forced to enter the English camp.
