In 1830 the English and Brazilians prepared for war. On paper there is a slight advantage in Brazil, more populous, richer, less indebted but nevertheless less industrialized.

In Europe, however, the various governments do not want to launch into a new war just 15 years after the long and costly fight against Napoleon.
The Brazilians can count on France, a little on Spain. The English are isolated but seek the alliance of the Prussians and the USA.

The war goals of the two powers are the same: supremacy in America, Africa and Asia.

For the English it is a question of expelling the Brazilians from Morocco (1), Southern Africa (2) with the help of the Boers, the Spanish colonies (3) and possibly India (4).

For the Brazilians, it is necessary to expel the English from India (1), Asia (2) and the Pacific (3), take the Portuguese colonies (4) -an English satellites- and annex the Spanish Empire (5).
