In 1756 the Franco-Brazilians left with the advantage with 18,000 soldiers against 10,500 for the Anglo-Dutch. But the Brazilians and the French will fight each on their own without coordination.

Thus from 1756 the French based in Pondicherry took Madras from the English. In the Circars, the Brazilians of Vishakhapatnam must fight against the betrayal of Hyderabad. They quickly triumphed but this gave the English time to take Chandernagore and expel the French from Bengal.

In 1757, the English defeated the Brazilian forces allied with those of the Mughal empire and conquered Bengal. They definitely have the advantage.

From now on the Anglo-Dutch will receive considerable reinforcements: 12,500 soldiers and 30 warships. French side barely 2500 soldiers and 10 ships. From Brazil, the contribution is even more minimal, 1000 soldiers and 3 ships, the priority being the fight against Argentina.

If the Brazilians managed to repel the English in 1758, on May 5, 1759 at the Battle of Alamanda, the Brazilian army and its Indian allies were defeated. Vishakhapatnam was besieged and surrender on February 2, 1760.

From now on the Anglo-Dutch are concentrating on Pondicherry. The city ended up being besieged in April 1761 and capitulated on January 27, 1762.
The Franco-Brazilians no longer have any possessions in India and the Anglo-Dutch victory is total. However, many Franco-Brazilian soldiers, merchants and officers took refuge with Indian princes hostile to the English.

Besides, the Brazilians were also driven out of Madagascar in 1761 by an Anglo-Dutch fleet.
