Here is that story!

The conquest of the young Spanish colony of Santa Cruz in Java in 1545 launched a great phase of expansion in Asia.
The rich island of Java was conquered between 1545 and 1565.
Then the Vinlanders expelled the Portuguese from Insulindia from 1560 to 1568. The capture of Malacca in 1568 marked the end of the Portuguese presence in this region after 131 years.
To the north, Vinland imposed its protectorate on Okinawa in 1557. Then it intervened in the feudal wars of Japan from 1560. This led to the constitution of two Japanese camps: the Christians (pro-Vinlanders) and the Traditionalists (nationalists). The Christians being weaker, Vinland had to send substantial troops – 40,000 men in 1580 – to support them.
This expansionism worries neighboring countries. China expels Vinland traders and missionaries even though there is still a lot of contraband.
In 1580 the Vinland colonial empire in Asia had 11,848,000 inhabitants. i.e. 13 times more than in 1540!
There are 218,000 whites and metis, but the colonists can count on the 410,000 Christianized Chinese and Japanese immigrants who are their auxiliaries. There are also 400,000 Christianized Japanese who are allied with the Vinlanders in Japan.
