1500 : Northern Vinland - demographic situation

About 1,600,000 (8%) are free natives.

The Grand Duchy of Kebec has a population of 5,050,000 (25%).

The rest, 13,975,000 (67%), are under the control of Normandite/Nouvelle Angleterre.

The whites (all have some native blood but it is almost invisible) are 14,822,000 (73%).
Pure natives are 4,540,000 (22%).
The others, 903,000 (5%), are “visible” metis. They are almost all in Central Vinland.

Four European languages are present and represent 78% of the population:

- Norman (French dialect): 9,059,000 (45%).
- English (near Old English): 6,143,000 (30%)
- Norse (close to Icelandic): 340,000 (2%)
- Venetian (or Italian): 184,000 (1%)

In 1500, the Kingdom of Nouvelle Angleterre united with its possessions in North, Central and South Vinland as well as in Asia 17,587,200 inhabitants, including 11,673,200 whites and metis (66%). The ruling ethnic group, the white Normans, are 9,154,200 or 52%.

It is the first Western state by its population surpassing France. It is also the largest with approximately 8 million km2 really controlled.
The capital, Ste Marie, has 320,000 inhabitants. and becomes the first city in the West.
