Description
What if the colonization of Vinland had succeeded?
The English, who claimed the entire East facade, explored all the coasts until 1380. They found neither precious metals nor civilized peoples. This is a great disappointment for King Edward III.
The west coast turns out to be rich and populated. The region divided into small kingdoms and city states is conquered in 3 decades.
Here is that story!

Just after the new partition of 1356, Southern Vinland became the object of intense exploration.
The English, who claimed the entire East facade, explored all the coasts until 1380. They found neither precious metals nor civilized peoples. This is a great disappointment for King Edward III.
His son Richard II decided to abandon a part of this region and cede Pernambuco to Castile in 1390 as part of a comprehensive peace : “All rivers facing the Ocean sea below 6° south and before the Tropic of Capricorn.” The Castilians will settle in San Henrique in 1393 with limited means.
The French, supported by their crown, will settle a little further south in 1398.
For the Normandite it is on the contrary the Jackpot.
The west coast turns out to be rich and populated. The region divided into small kingdoms and city states is conquered in 3 decades.
Especially in 1379 the Normandians discover the fabulous mine of Potosi which will give tons and tons of silver ores.
Thus the Baron de Normandite will become richer than the King of England. And obviously aroused a lot of envy.
