1300: expansion of the Barony of Kebec

What if the colonization of Vinland had succeeded?
Wulfnoth III founded in 1251 Svenson Castle, which is located the most upstream of the navigable part of the St Frédéric river.
A strong castle is built on the hill which dominates the city because it is exposed to Iroquois attacks.
The Iroquois are armed and advised by Baron de Nouvanjou but he does not intervene directly.

In 1269 Wulfnoth IV founded Castle on Skanadario which was a challenge for the Iroquois.The Iroquois do not dare to attack the masonry fortresses of Kebec but multiply the raids on the surroundings and the access roads.

In 1277 Wulfnoth IV launched a military campaign with 1000 men against the Iroquois. He was killed in the disastrous Battle of Oneida Lake on July 25, 1277.

It will take 10 years for Wulfnoth V to dare to attack again with 1,300 men. Supported by a fleet built on Lake Skanadario, he multiplies rapid attacks and destroys the resources of the Iroquois.

In 1296 the Iroquois were forced to make peace and Leofwine III was finally able to found Castle Ongiara in 1298 which gave a full access to the Great Lakes.

Meanwhile the adventurers of Kebec have not remained inactive. Explorers discovered the Mississippi / Missouri (1262), Ohio (1276), Lake Winnipeg (1259).

However, they did not go to the sources of the Missouri nor to the mouths of the Mississippi. And no permanent position is installed.
