General FAQ

What do I do if I find someone that is: Stealing your art, Stealing your characters, Has Altered your art, Obviously Copying/Ripping Off your characters, Tracing your art, or Heavily Referencing off your work?
Do not harass them. Please simply send me a note with their username and links to the images. Thank you!

Can I use your characters in my RP?
No.

Can I use your artwork in my RP?
No.

Can I re-upload your work onto another website?
No.

Do you take requests?
No, unless I explicitly post a journal stating otherwise.
Requests are for active watchers only.

Can I draw fan art of your characters?
Of course you can! I love to favorite all the fan art so I can look back at them each time I go on DA.

Are you named after Assassin Creed?
NO, ASSASSIN CREED IS NAMED AFTER ME
I got the nickname "Altair" in 1986 and it comes from the main star in the constellation of Eagle. Assassin Creed has nothing to do with my name, in fact my name is 20+ years older than assassin creed.

Do you like video games? If so, what are your favorite ones?
I really enjoyed Borderlands 2 and Portal 2. I also play with very professional flight simulators.

How old are you?
I'm too old to be drawing cartoons and comics. I'm probably old enough to be the mother of 90% of the people on this site. But my brain is still one of a teen and old people are too boring for me.
Old people told me that Hummer is creepy and disgusting.

Why did you block me?
I have a very fast block finger. I block people for the following reasons: they've been rude to me or one of my friends, they're art thieves, they beg for points on my page, they advertise themselves on my page, they're clearly trolls and or bullies, they post or say offensive stuff, they use mass fave scripts, they spam random stuff. I usually block without warning because discussing with the aforementioned people is a waste of time.

I'll watch you, can you watch me back?
I used to watch back some time ago, but now I don't watch back anymore because I realized that there are a lot of people who watches me just to have a watchback and then they unwatch me.

I have a story, Can you draw me a comic for free?
No, unless days were 72 hours long, I was a forever young cyborg, and I had robotic wrists that could draw stuff as fast as a laser printer without ever hurting.

Can you give me points?
nope

Can you buy my adoptables?
nope, but you can buy mine if you want. I'm skilled enough to draw my own characters, why on earth should I buy yours.

Can you give me 50 bucks?
nope (this question was asked for real on picarto, believe it or not)

Can we be friends?
Friendship can't be asked for or bought on social media (I am saying it in general).
Friendship is something that needs no proposals. In fact it is one thing that you live with, without even exactly realizing when did it become a part of your life.
You can't have anyone random to be your friend by accepting your proposal of friendship and expect them not to judge you and be with you no matter what. Practically, how is that even possible? I really can't come to an acceptance that someone can just be cool about it and say "Yes man why not, main hu na".
PS: Don't struggle too hard to get friends. Instead try making few with time, if you really feel you need the real ones.

Art FAQ

What tools do you use to make your art?
I use a 10 years old wacom bamboo, Paint tool SAI for the linearts and Photoshop CS5 for coloring. Also, sometimes GIMP for animations.

What inspired your drawing style?
Dragonball I think. But I'm not proud of this, I wish I had a more anime style or disney style or realism style but nooo I have this lame ugly fake DBZ surrogate style. Oh well *shrugs*.

Are you self taught? Or did you take any courses?
I'm 100% self taught, sadly. My art teacher said that I would never be able to go to an art school, so I just did everything on my own. Which has its limits. Watching other artists livestreams and doing tutorials helps though.

What inspires you the most when it comes to art?
From 1yo to 6yo, my grandparents chickens. I used to draw roosters as big as a T-rexes. I swear.
From 6 to 15, anime, mostly
Now, probably animals, nature, science and to some extent anime, games, movies, and news from the world.

Comic and OC FAQ

What was the inspiration for your comic?
IDK I had a dream one night and that's how it started, it was meant to have around 10 pages but it ended up with over 800, go figure...

How do you draw your comics(traditional, digital, a mixture)?
I do them 100% digital, but sometimes I sketch them traditionally if I'm travelling by train and can't use a PC.

Why are there 72.3 different forms of your character Altair?
Because I love my characters so much that I refuse to make new ones and just crossover the same characters over and over wherever I want or need to. I created Altair in 1986 and with time she evolved into different things, but she still maintain her personality and most of her physical traits.
