This drawing is actually from a doujinshi I own. It's from one of the panels. (aka I did not draw this, wish I did though.) The original image was black and white only. I liked it so much that I scanned it in and I spent HOURS coloring it. (Mostly trying to figure out what lines were important, what was what, reinking lines, etc. Like is that his ear on the right or more hair? In the end I went with ear because I liked the look of it.)

I took colors from Naotoki's body armor to color the kimono. I reversed hair colors to make it mostly a dark green with light green as the highlight. The snake is gold ala his swords. The background color is from a screen shot of him sitting in armor without his helmet.

The wallpaper is available on my website Soul of the Seasons under the Wallpapers section. Please view my image policy there before downloading it. Thanks.

Note: I originally colored the image to make a Naotoki fan stamp for DA out of it. But shrinking it down made it look worse. After all that work I just couldn't abandon it, so I made it a wallpaper instead.

Edit 2/21/10: Minor edits to the image to clean up a few spots here and there. You probably won't notice.

Edit/Update 2/20/14: Replaced desktop screenshot with wallpaper image.

Sehkmet, or Naza as he's called in Japan. I actually liked this guy. He was kind of creepy with his green skin, green hair, and creepy eyes. But that's what I liked about him. He was one of those villains that leaves you with quite an impression. And he was quite persistent as well.

Ah, yes....I remember him...he was a favorite of mine. Where as others around me could only see a strange surface, I saw in him a great potential. After all this time, it makes me happy to see that I'm not the only one who realize it.

Aaah. I've been wondering when you'd reply to this. :greetings: I wanted to get a Naotoki fan's reaction to it. I hope I captured his spirit in the coloring. Darn took long enough with how picky I was.

Sometimes being picky is a very good thing :)

He looks so peaceful. I bet that doesn't happen very often. :XD:

There are some nice sketches of him in doujinshis. I like posting them to say, "See he can look good."

Definetely. He CAN look good. The stupid anime people just didn't quite get that in most places.

-gasps- OOOOOOMG! <33333 So awesome! <3 I want to reach out and hug him, although that would disturb his peace... I feel the look on his face when I glomp him would be so worth it. XD (Then take him home with me)

^__^ Yes I love doujinshi stories that have the Warlords relaxing in the Netherworld. It's nice to see them in regular clothes. And yes some images the artists have done are quite glompable. :)

Though I'd be careful with that snake being there before glomping.
