Happy Women's History Month
Jean Grey
Jean Grey is Bayville High’s “perfect” honors kid—organized, principled, and quietly intense—who’s spent her whole life treating her mind like a locked room. Ever since childhood “incidents” (people fainting when she panicked, objects moving when she got angry, dreams that felt like someone else’s memories), she’s relied on logic, routines, and a Gwen-like sense of right-and-wrong to keep herself steady. When a spike of psychic noise in Bayville reveals someone is hunting mutants—and that Jean can hear it—Professor Xavier offers her a place at his school where she can finally learn control instead of hiding. Jean becomes the team’s moral compass and strategist, but the more she pushes her telepathy to protect others, the more she senses a vast, fiery presence in the back of her thoughts… something that feels less like a power and more like a door waiting to open.
Voiced:
Ashley Johnson
Fun Fact: the actress Ashley made her appearance in 2012's The Avengers at the end of Phase One in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And she's voiced as Gwen in Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and Omniverse.
Well done!
