I live in Asheville, North Carolina. Awesome town. I love documenting the life around me and the history passing by, both new and old.
I strive to capture iconic scenes that can instantly communicate how the elements in our world are able to come together so beautifully.
The world has a lifespan and so do I.
It is a promise, that I am going to make the best of both lifetimes through my art.
Ethics with editing are high up in my book of important things to have. I try to stick to techniques which can be done in a darkroom.
I do not edit a scene to the point where reality is changed or falsified. I only edit a scene so that the _feeling that is communicated_ changes.

Hey guys and gals,
This one is for all of you who have looked at and supported my art over the past three weeks or so that I have been on DA. It has blown my mind, the force behind all the positive energy here in this community.
It took me forever to decide to make an account here, and I do NOT regret it one bit. Skeptic. That is no longer me.
If there is _anything_ I can do at all for any single person who stops by, leave me a comment or message describing such needs. I will do my best to help you out with such. If you need photo critique or advice on anything photo related, this is my humble offering of what knowledge I have.

I find that because of all the time I spend behind the camera, I rarely have any photos of myself to show people. I like everyone here on DA a lot. So I decided to show who is behind the camera.
If you are interested I have just gone through and found all the photos of myself that I like (plus one that I JUST took) and will be adding them to my scrapbook.
These are all photos taken with my camera cept the last one. Some are self portraits, some group shots with tripods, and some taken by trusted friends.
