So I was goofing around with the Question II mask I made for my girlfriend (for her renee cosplay for D*C, yay!!) and some how ended up dressing completely up and taking pictures. I also really love her look when she wears just the jeans, tshirt, and leather jacket. Because damn. I just love her. Anyways. I like her trenchcoat too haha!

Funny how those things happen.

(It may have to do with my complete and utter obession with Renee Montoya that I DO NOT regret in one bit. And also the fact that my Batwoman cosplay is well....a wig right now)

Anyways. Take this as you will haha!

No one goes to you for answers? That's because you are... the Question. Right? there, someone came for an answer.

I am with Kazekuro,
Really amazing job on the mask and look. I actually go to dragoncon every year, for the last 3 I have cosplayed as Huntress. I have really been wanting to try out Question, but have yet to find a good solution for the mask. How on earth did you make it work so well? Please show us the way yoda... if you don't mind of course ^.^

Thank you very much!
Do you go to the big DC/Gotham shoots? I may of seen you last year! :D
And I don't mind at all...Im a firm believer that the world needs more Renees haha!
Hope you don't mind that I just copy-pasted this from my response to her! ^^;
"This is just a mask I had laying around my house, that I attached a pair of unused dance tights (Im a competive dancer so I have like....PILES of these tights! Haha!) with E600 to the mask. I like using the capezio/dance tights because since they are more expensive and made for stage/dancer wear they are really thick but still see-through, and very rip-resistant!"

Hope that helps! :D

Hey, thanks so much. You know as rediculous as it sounds everytime I mean to go to the photo shoot for DC I freaking forget! I go with friends and we end up getting sidetracked I'm sure you know how easy that can be at D*C. I have however been in the parade twice I actually walked with a BOP group the first year.

I really appreciate the help with the mask! :D

Haha, yes I totally understand! I know a ton of people who go to those, so for me its a great way to actually see my friends (since its so easy to completely miss someone at D*C!) and of course meet new people! :D Ive always wanted to walk in the parade...I was supposed to last year as Wedding Special Black Canary with my girlfriend as Green Arrow but it just ended up not working out XD Well hey, maybe well run into each other this year! :)

And no problem, its my pleasure! :)

Funny you mention the black canary wedding special, One year I walked as huntress I ran into a group of oracle, black canary, nightwing, and green arrow and well they invited me to walk with them. Halfway down the parade route "nightwing" knelt infront of oracle and proposed to her people went nutz. I love D*C for random stuff like that!

It be awesome to run into you and your girlfriend, myself and mine are trying to figure out if we can make it out there since we just moved to Texas hopefully though! fingers crossed.

Okay 1: I love Renee in general as I am a Renee Cosplayer myself (have yet to actually do her AS the Question as my friend who does Vic still does occassionally so it's more like 52 Renee than current) anyways- I want to give you major props and after having made SEVERAL Question masks (usually for doods) I was wondering how you did yours. But please let me state for the record- I THINK YOU ARE SO AWESOME *brofist* lucky lady ya got there.

Awesome! The world needs more Renee love and cosplayers! :)
This is just a mask I had laying around my house, that I attached a pair of unused dance tights (Im a competive dancer so I have like....PILES of these tights! Haha!) with E600 to the mask. I like using the capezio/dance tights because since they are more expensive and made for stage/dancer wear they are really thick but still see-through, and very rip-resistant!
Thanks again! You're quite awesome yourself! :D
And Im the lucky one! Im lucky that my girlfriend will cosplay my favorite character ever....I just hope my Batwoman lives up to her!

hello!
I read interesting stuffs here! I wish to prepare some cosplays of vic sage question (yeah, I'm a girl, the other option beeing catwoman) and I was wondering to things:
-Are capezzio tights are also breth-through?
-How did you put the mask? I saw a fan movie where the guy had an awfull edge, alllowing to see that he had a face surface only. My sister adviced me to totally put my head in, then hide upper seam under wig & hat. I'm curious about your technic and wonder if some edges are visibles.
Would you mind to share tips with me?

As I'm a learning -but nonetheless improving- dressmaker I think I can do something cool for pants, coat and vest, but I still have a big... question about the face! =)

LOL DAMNIT I NEVER THOUGHT OF DANCE TIGHTS! I was useing hose on my last one and it just... didn't work to the right level now I know why LOL thank you! I am sure I have old dance tights around here somewhere. ('retired' after injury) A lot of my buisness comes from Cosplayers- they let me use them as models then usually want to buy something from me so I love cosplayers. >^.^< my lady while she's not a person 'in' the scene (she's a nurse uber smart) she supports my art and likes that I have fun at my job including running around with Huntress and a Batwoman... ooooh we have many a shennanigan XD if you're ever in the New England area we'd love for you to hang out (both you and your lady of course!) Thank you!
AlouetteCosplay's avatar
Lol its okay! I only thought of them because I have a plethora of them haha!
And I totally understand how that is, I had achilles tendon surgery about 4 years ago and against all advice I kept on dancing XD Not the -best- decision but I don't regret it haha! and that sounds awesome and fun haha! And I do hope on going up there sometime, it'd be great to hang out! And likewise if you're ever in Florida haha!
