Kelpi the Water Dragon

Meet Kelpi, a dragon OC I made that was originally made for the Destiny Intertwined comic by DragonOfIceAndFire!

She's the mentor of Apepus, raising him to become one with the wilderness that he currently calls home after his original family cast him out due to his Ape-like appearance.

Kelpi is old as she is wise, choosing the life of a hermit out in Titan Fields. She served many years in the war as a healer and was mistreated despite her talent and good intentions, possibly due to her "ugliness" and lack of hatred towards dark dragons, cheetahs, and apes, even speaking in their defense on occasion, earning her even more backlash. When she was caught in a horrible battle and presumed dead by her squadron, she fell back to the wilderness to start a new life of peace and quiet, unable to continue enduring the toxicity of her past life. She believes that being close to nature is another way of being close to the Ancestors, as one day her essence will become part of the wild as well.
